About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an original pencil drawing by the artist Jan Jetten. The work depicts a detailed representation of a thatched-roof farmhouse, characteristic of the artist's signature and subject matter. The drawing is executed on paper and features a mat. The piece is framed in a wooden frame with a warm, brown finish. The composition is constructed with strong pencil lines that create texture and depth, typical of the artist's figurative style. The work is signed in the lower right corner and dated '78. The artwork is in good condition, commensurate with its age. The drawing itself has been well preserved within the frame. The wooden frame shows some signs of use that emphasize the authentic character of the piece. This drawing fits perfectly into a classic or country interior. The work comes into its own as part of a gallery wall or as a standalone accent in a study or living space.
