About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Original pencil drawing by the Dutch artist Jan Jetten, dating from 1976. The work depicts an atmospheric landscape with two farmhouses, characterized by an expressive and precise linework typical of the artist's oeuvre.
The drawing is executed in pencil on paper and is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner. The artwork is presented in a classic wooden frame with a mat, which accentuates the depth and contrast of the graphite lines. The back is fitted with a hanging wire, ready for display.
The work is in good condition, commensurate with its age, with the paper having acquired a slight, natural discoloration that contributes to the authentic character of the piece. The wooden frame shows light signs of age, which enhances the vintage look.
This understated landscape fits perfectly into a classic or country interior. It forms a calming element on the wall in a study, hallway, or living room, and combines well with other graphic works or natural materials.
