Product description
Original and high-end French tourist poster.
Published in 1964 by the Commissariat Général au Tourisme
to promote the heritage of Dauphiné and the
Rhône Valley, this magnificent large-format lithographic poster
is a prestigious edition printed by the
famous Braun & Cie workshops in Mulhouse. It superbly
highlights an ancient masterpiece:
the famous Roman mosaic of Orphée charming the
animals (1st century), preserved at the Musée lapidaire de
Vienne (Isère).
With its strong graphic composition and deep colors,
