Product description

The painting "Informant" by Igor Konovalov reflects the immense power and influence of social media in the digital age. The iconic blue shape resembling the Facebook logo serves as a platform for the artist's recurring "bunnies," symbolizing the rapid spread of information, data, and content. These digital particles, fast and uncontrollable, represent the constant flow of communication that fills the modern world. Konovalov critiques how social platforms have become dominant spaces for information exchange, shaping human perception and interaction. The sky, filled with both light and dark hues, suggests that this digital realm offers opportunities for connection but also challenges, such as misinformation or information overload. Through this work, the artist invites viewers to reflect on the role social media plays in their lives and the balance between virtual and real-world experiences.
