Offered for sale: a beautiful, original vintage MR20 design chair, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1927.
This is not a modern replica or a newer Knoll chair with laser engraving, but an authentic vintage example from the last century.
At the time, these chairs were marked with paper labels or stickers that have disappeared over the years, but the authenticity lies in the construction.
Seamless finish: The ends of the steel tubes (at the armrests) are fully welded shut and smoothly polished.
High-quality frame: The frame is made of a seamless tube of high-quality chrome steel with the correct diameter. The chair features the iconic, comfortable suspension (cantilever). The chrome is in good condition, but the wickerwork is definitely in used condition.
You can leave it as is as an original eye-catcher or replace the wickerwork.
