Product description
Kazak carpets are characterized by their geometric patterns and are largely inspired by older Russian and Caucasian carpet designs. Today, these carpets are made in Pakistan and sold under the name "Kazak". The newer rugs, made after 1925, have a cotton warp instead of a wool warp and tend to have fewer and simpler patterns than the older ones. The rugs are quite durable and a popular choice among interior designers. The timeless elegance and vibrant colors of Kazak rugs provide a strong contrast to minimalist and neutral design schemes. Kazak rugs are stonewashed to give them a natural sheen and they shine like jewels on the floor. The short pile makes these rugs easy to keep clean.
