Edition 70/200. Total dimensions 55x29 cm. Aimé Edmond Dallemagne (1882–1971) was a renowned French painter, watercolorist, and engraver. Trained in Paris, he dedicated much of his career to documenting the architecture and atmosphere of the French capital and its great historic cathedrals. His works are distinguished by an exceptional level of detail, a skillful use of chiaroscuro, and a strong three-dimensional rendering of stone monuments. His works depicting the monuments and streets of Paris are the most sought after and collected.
