Product description
H.P. Hansen designed this Chest of drawers for Dyrlund in the 60s with a clear goal: plenty of storage space without the body appearing heavy. The sliding doors glide in teak guides, the frame is solidly crafted, and the grain runs smoothly and evenly. The floating plinth element visually lifts the body and was typical of Danish furniture art of that period.
This Dyrlund piece shows normal signs of wear: light scratches on the surface, minimal pressure marks on the edges, but no damage to the wood or mechanisms. The sliding doors run smoothly, and the surface has a warm patina. Inside are shelves that you can adjust as needed.
A second life for a Dane that has never gone out of style.
