Product description
Bring character and timeless elegance into your interior with this beautiful, original color etching by the renowned German artist Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895–1977). Meyer-Eberhardt is known worldwide for his extremely refined animal portraits. This specific work—titled "Stehendes Rehkitz" (Standing Fawn)—is one of his most sought-after and beloved nature studies. The work was created using the traditional drypoint technique, which is beautifully evident in the subtle, soft texture of the fur and the lively, expressive gaze of the young fawn.Strict Limited Edition & Hand-signedThis piece is absolutely not a mass reproduction or a later poster print, but a rare collector's item!Limited edition: Numbered 31/50 in pencil at the bottom left. Thus, only 50 copies of this specific impression exist worldwide.Hand-signed: Signed in pencil by the artist himself ("M. Eberhardt") at the bottom right, just below the authentic plate mark (platemoet) which testifies to the original press print via Hanfstaengl Verlag München.Condition and details:Artist: Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (Germany, 1895-1977)Technique: Original color etching / drypoint engravingEdition: 31 of 50 (Exclusive limited edition)Signature: Hand-signed in pencilCondition: The work is in beautiful, authentic vintage condition.
