Piero Lissoni wanted to create a sofa that appeared so light it would float, yet met all expectations for comfort. He designed two generous, softly upholstered cushions resting on delicate metal legs and named it MET – reduced, timeless, almost weightless. The frame made of matte metal features a robust fabric cover in soft beige; the proportions are generous without being bulky. This piece comes from Cassina and is in almost new condition: The modern bouclé fabric is stain-free and even, the metal frame without scratches, the upholstery dimensionally stable.
