Product description
A beautiful, authentic bronze Sculpture of a sitting hare (Lièvre) by the renowned French animal sculptor Pierre Chenet.
This solid bronze figurine is crafted using the traditional 'lost wax' method (cire perdue). The sculpture is known for its magnificent acid patina, developed by Chenet himself, which creates the characteristic reddish-brown, lively texture in the fur.
On the underside, the sculpture is fully and officially marked with the cast name stamp P. CHENET and the well-known foundry stamp in the shape of a three-pointed crown.
