About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This tasteful stool dates back to the 1940s and was manufactured in Czechoslovakia, where it represents a highly representative and craft-wise valuable example of Art Deco furniture art. The entire construction of this piece is made of a sturdy wooden framework complemented by precise hemp weaving, whose unique texture and specific natural pattern give the furniture an unmistakable character and a warm color tone. The comfortable upper seating part and the sophisticated system of practical storage space inside the stool emphasize the high utility value and sophistication of the domestic production of that time. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and original artisanal solutions impart extraordinary visual dynamics and elegance to the stool, which is so typical of the Art Deco period. The item has survived in its original, very well-preserved condition, fully retaining its historical authenticity without any disruptive modern elements. Thanks to honest craftsmanship and quality materials, the structure is sturdy, stable, and the item is fully ready for immediate use in an interior. This piece of furniture serves wonderfully as a practical stool for seating or relaxation while offering hidden storage space, functioning simultaneously as a striking and aesthetically exceptionally valuable solitaire. It will find its application in living rooms, bedrooms, or representative parlors, where it will reliably capture attention with its pure form and historical charm. It successfully combines high utility value, precise craftsmanship, and timeless design that will impart an atmosphere of elegance and refined taste to any space. Ref.: 3854
