ProfessionalProduct description
This elegant standing champagne cooler dates back to 1920s France and is a quintessential example of Art Deco style. It is characterized by clean lines and the refined aesthetics typical of this interwar period. The object's design emphasizes functionality combined with a luxurious visual impression, with its balanced shape and subtle execution making it a representative interior accessory.
The object is crafted from a combination of copper and brass, which lends it a noble appearance and underscores its historical value. The surface of the copper vessel is adorned with a characteristic hammered texture, which adds a handcrafted character to the object. The cooler remains in its original, well-preserved condition, an attribute highly prized in items of this age as it attests to authenticity and careful handling. The use of quality metals and precise craftsmanship ensure both aesthetic appeal and long-lasting durability.
Given its French origin, belonging to the iconic Art Deco period, and its excellent state of preservation, this cooler holds high collector and market value. It represents not only a practical tool for chilling sparkling wines and champagne but also a stylish collector's solitaire. For the discerning collector or interior owner, it is an investment in the history of dining that retains its prestige even after a century due to its timeless design.
