This is not a modern reproduction: its authenticity is certified by the construction techniques visible on the back.
The frame is a masterpiece of cabinetmaking, crafted from solid walnut and richly carved with foliage motifs and a rare, elegant openwork cornice.

Original Back: Back made of solid wood slats placed side by side, typical of 19th-century craftsmanship.
Contemporary Assembly: The mirror is attached to the frame with the original hand-hammered nails.
