Product description
This antique Hoffmann's silver-gloss-strength wooden crate is an authentic piece of advertising history from the early 20th century. The object is distinguished by its striking typography and the detailed illustration of a cat, which served as the iconic trademark of the Hoffmann company. The crate is crafted entirely from solid wood and retains the original black lettering on the sides and lid. It features a simple metal clasp on the front and metal carrying handles on the sides. The construction displays traditional joinery and a warm, brown patina developed through decades of natural aging. The condition is authentic, reflecting its great age and original use as a transport and storage crate. The wood surface has developed a pronounced patina, further emphasizing the piece's historical character. The hinges and clasp are original. This historic object makes an excellent decorative storage element in rustic or industrial-style interiors. It integrates seamlessly into vintage concepts and offers a charming way to stylishly store everyday items.
