Product description
Abash4 "White Paint on Newspaper" by Ukrainian artist Marusya Abashidze is a striking minimalist piece that juxtaposes textured white paint with fragments of printed text and newspaper elements. The painting captures a sense of erasure and renewal, where the blank canvas of white overlays and partially conceals the chaotic background of words and images, symbolizing both silence and expression. Abashidze uses the interplay of muted tones, rough textures, and bold handwritten markings to explore themes of transformation and the ephemeral nature of communication. The artist invites viewers to reflect on the layers of meaning hidden beneath surfaces, suggesting that even what is seemingly erased or obscured leaves an imprint on the whole. This work is a meditation on the duality of presence and absence, chaos and clarity.
