About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Original Antelami two-seater sofa, designed by Kazuhide Takahama and manufactured in Italy by Simon Gavina during the 1970s. The listed price refers to ONE sofa. Three matching sofas are available and may be purchased individually or as a complete set. The sofas were purchased directly from Simon Gavina by their current owners and have remained in the same private home ever since. They retain their original light ivory velvet upholstery, which has never been replaced and has been exceptionally well preserved thanks to very limited use and protective covers. Each sofa bears its original Simon Gavina label. Details: • Designer: Kazuhide Takahama • Manufacturer: Simon Gavina • Model: Antelami • Period: 1970s • Country of origin: Italy • Two-seater sofa • Original light ivory velvet upholstery • Original Simon Gavina label • Dimensions: 210 × 90 × 48 cm • Three matching sofas available Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The original upholstery has no tears or major stains. The structure is stable, and the cushions are soft and comfortable. Only minor signs of age are present, consistent with careful vintage use. An authentic example of twentieth-century Italian modernist design, ideal for collectors and admirers of Kazuhide Takahama and Simon Gavina furniture. Finding three matching Antelami sofas with their original upholstery, direct provenance and more than forty years in the same private home is increasingly rare.
