The vase was made in the 1960s in Italy.
An impressive vase made of artistic glass in shades of orange, red and white, with a distinct millefiori effect and a spiral pattern (latticino). The flared, wavy edges emphasise the handcrafted nature of the piece and give it a dynamic form. The vase draws on the glassmaking traditions of Murano, where since the 19th century, master craftsmen have used techniques of colouring and combining coloured glass rods into decorative, organic compositions. An original vintage piece, created in the 1960s/1970s, with high collector's value. Ideal as a decorative object, fitting in with a retro atmosphere and artistic glass collections.
Condition: The item is preserved in its original condition, may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
