Private sellerProduct description
Here's a fantastic pendant lamp straight from the 1970s, featuring a bold plastic and brass construction. Its wide, hat-like silhouette is a signature of the era, bringing a playful and retro vibe to any space.
This piece is crafted from a vibrant orange plastic that shades into a warm yellow near the center, creating a beautiful gradient effect when lit. The lamp is finished with a brass fitting at the top and has a generous diameter of 45 cm. The design is a classic example of the Space Age aesthetic that defined the 70s, focusing on new materials and futuristic forms.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age. The plastic shade provides a warm, inviting glow, and the original brass hardware has developed a light patina that adds to its authentic character. It's a statement piece that would look great suspended over a dining table, in a cozy reading nook, or as a central feature in a living room with a retro or eclectic style.
