ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Unique artwork edited by the French artist Ixour, advertising designer for many famous brands in the automotive sector. The frame is the original one and is part of the work, whose originality lies both in the Decollage work on the back and in the blue color stamp on the front as shown in attached photo number 5, an unmistakable trait of Ixour. This work comes from a fair of auto parts and automobilia, a rare piece by Ixour who works mainly as an advertiser while maintaining a passion for art and in particular for Pop Art.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jan Ixour is a French artist dedicated to advertising in the automotive sector, known for his distinct visual language, which combines the raw energy of street art with the precision of artisanal technique.
Working exclusively with hand-cut stencils, he has developed a distinctive and refined style, where every line is carefully designed and manually executed. His work is at the intersection of digital creation, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary urban art.
What defines his approach is a unique balance between control and spontaneity. While the subject is meticulously constructed through layers of stencils, the background is created instinctively, making each piece truly one of a kind. This philosophy — which he defines as “originality in repetition” — ensures that no work is ever reproduced or duplicated.
Each work is original — no prints, no editions — making each acquisition a unique and exclusive piece for a collection.
Artist's certificate.
From a personal collection created in recent years.
