Satin-blown glass vase & lamp, designed by Fontana Arte, Italy, circa 1950. In original condition. This extraordinary table lamp functions not only as lighting but also as a vase for flowers. The flower vase can be removed to optimally direct the light towards the top of the lamp. This piece is attributed to the stated designer/manufacturer. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, but it is well documented in design history. Minimal traces of rust are visible on the bottom; see photos. Otherwise in good condition. Plug (up to 250V).
