For sale:
Vintage rosewood sideboard from Denmark, designed by the Omann Jun Møbelfabrik. The sideboard/drawer cabinet is known the classic series and produced in the 1960s. The chest of drawers has no less than 8 (!) drawers.
Gunni Omann began his career in the family business that had been making furniture since 1919. He worked as a furniture maker before moving into furniture design in the 1950s. In 1953 he founded his own company, Omann Jun Møbelfabrik, which produced a wide variety of furniture, including sideboards, tables and chairs.
Omann Jun is particularly known for sideboards. Furniture by his hand is always of high quality usually made of rosewood or teak and is invariably in the premier league of Danish mid-century modern design.
