Product description
This is a classic Ole Wanscher sofa, manufactured by A.J. Iversen in Denmark during the 1950s. The piece exemplifies the refined elegance of mid-century Scandinavian design, characterised by its clean lines and understated silhouette.
The sofa features a solid mahogany frame, providing a sturdy foundation for the upholstered seating area. It is covered in a textured green-moss wool textile, offering a subtle yet distinct colourway that complements the warm tones of the wooden legs. The construction reflects the high standards of Danish craftsmanship typical of the era.
Overall, the sofa remains in good condition, preserving its structural integrity and original character. The upholstery and frame show signs of wear consistent with age and use, adding to its authentic vintage appeal.
This piece is well-suited for a variety of interior styles, from mid-century modern to contemporary spaces. It serves as a functional and aesthetically pleasing focal point in a living room or study.
