Educational model of an Oldenburg draft horse, designed by Max Landsberg around 1900. Created for veterinary and agricultural instruction, it demonstrates the anatomical precision and sculptural realism characteristic of late 19th- to early 20th-century German academic model-making.
Made of hand-painted plaster, the figure captures the breed’s muscular build and natural stance, finished in shades of brown with detailed surface texture. The paintwork remains vivid with light patina consistent with age, and the piece is structurally intact.
