Old glazed, earthenware vase from the Kunstaardewerkfabriek “De Olde Kruyk” in Milsbeek Limburg. Dated 1950s – 1960s. Material earthenware, glazed on the outside with a special, so-called crater glaze in a mixed palette of soft earth tones, such as sand beige, soft pink/light brown. Inside glazed in natural brown color. The vase is spherical with a neck and two small handles, making it resemble a jug model (referring to the factory's name). The largest diameter is approx. 75 cm, neck opening diameter approx. 11 cm, base approx. 9 cm, height 22.5 cm. On the bottom of the base, three brand stamps are pressed on top of each other, making the text difficult to read. The text “Milsbeek Limburg” is still just legible. The vase has only been used for decoration and is in good and beautiful condition overall. Only the top rim of the neck has some minor damage (chips). Preferably pick up. Any shipping costs are for the buyer.
