Product description
Pressed cardboard suitcase/box with leather strap from 1930. Was used to transport samples. In good condition. Original, not a decorative reproduction. Dimensions: 56 cm long, 34 cm deep, and 20 cm high.
The suitcase belonged to a shoe salesman named José, who, as the eldest son, had to start working at the age of 17 after his father's death to support his mother and six siblings.
The suitcase shows signs of use, each telling a story about steam train travel, rainy days, and many roads traveled, making it a very special piece.
