Product description
GRAS RAVEL model 205 desk lamp with its pyramidal cast iron base, emblematic of the brand. Aluminum reflector, "normal" model number 1054. This lamp is articulated at the base thanks to its ebonite ball joint, and its two joints at the arms allow for a multitude of combinations. Note a few dents and a tiny hole on the reflector (see photo).
Marked "LAMPE GRAS S.D.G.D." on the first arm (indicating its manufacture between 1922 and 1930) and numbered 1031 under the base.
Completely restored, sanded, and patinated. The electrical system has been redone. Brass bayonet socket with switch, black fabric braided electrical cord.
