Product description
Cute small antique soup tureen/broth pot or casserole dish in ironstone, unsigned Saint-Uze, French manufacture from the early 20th century in an Art Deco spirit. Model with a beautiful rounded shape resting on a slight base, equipped with two side handles and its original lid, decorated with an elegant blue geometric stamp motif on an off-white background.
Height 15cm, width 21cm at the handles, body diameter approximately 17cm. Very good general condition for its age, with natural crazing of the glaze, some grains and small discreet and harmonious manufacturing defects. Note a star-shaped impact forming three hairline cracks on the lid, slightly stained and not penetrating, as well as a more pronounced use patina inside. Weight approximately 800-900 g.
