For sale is a historical, rustic kerosene lamp / storm lantern of the well-known brand BAT (with the bat logo) from Fr. Stübgen & Co. (Erfurt). The lantern features the old embossing „D.R. Patent“ (German Reich Patent), indicating its high age (pre-war period, approx. 1910–1930). Condition details: The original glass is completely intact and shows no cracks or fissures. The container/tank appears to be sealed (however, I have not tested it with kerosene). The lamp is in absolute, honest found condition with a distinct, authentic rust patina. To avoid damage, the lamp was deliberately not cleaned or polished – ideal for collectors who appreciate the untouched original condition from the traditional company Stübgen. Private sale with no warranty, guarantee, or return.
