What a world exclusive issue this was to pull together, with a lot of whispering and knowing nods in the newsroom, days of tension and concern that somehow the big secret could all be blown. But there were many laughs also, much excitement, ideas aplenty, creativity on overdrive and a
feeling of knowing this was a (huge) one-off that needed to be embraced. The privilege and fun of being a journalist was felt by us all in the run up to printing (well, the small few who actually knew what was going on).

It has been an honour to be associated with Banksy and the Cut and Run exhibition at GOMA, with the story of the exhibition breaking on our website shortly after midnight on the day the newspaper hit the stands.
