Product description
1960s office filing cabinet characterized by a functional and restrained design, typical of Italian professional furniture of the period.
The piece features a compact wooden structure with six sliding drawers designed for storing documents and files. The drawer fronts are enriched with clear glass panels set flush into the wood, a detail that visually lightens the composition while creating a refined contrast between the warm wood and the smooth glass surface.
The lines are simple and balanced: the top with its slightly recessed edge subtly defines the volume of the cabinet, while the small turned legs lift the structure from the floor, giving it a light and refined presence.
Originally conceived for everyday office use, this type of furniture reflects the search for functionality and formal clarity that characterizes much of Italian design from the 1960s. Today it retains its practical and orderly character, making it suitable both for working spaces and domestic interiors.
