Exceptionally rare armchair designed by Niels O. Møller and produced by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, Denmark. Model 62 is regarded as one of the most refined and elusive designs within Møller’s oeuvre and is highly sought after by collectors of Danish Mid-Century furniture.
Crafted from solid oak and newly fitted with a hand-woven seat in original Danish paper cord. The chair stands out for its sculptural craftsmanship, including the finely shaped backrest supports and the beautifully curved, tapered armrests. Their gentle sweep offers excellent comfort and a tactile, hand-friendly quality.
Condition: Professionally restored. Seat weaving new and flawless. Expertly repaired breaks to the backrest, re-glued, structurally sound and newly lacquered. Only minor age-related wear such as light scratches, small marks, and subtle tonal variations.

Extrem seltener Armlehnstuhl, entworfen von Niels O. Møller und gefertigt von J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Dänemark. Das Modell 62 gehört zu den elegantesten und zugleich seltensten Entwürfen der ikonischen Møller-Reihe und gilt heute als absolutes Sammlerstück des dänischen Mid-Century Designs.
Der Stuhl ist aus massivem Eichenholz gefertigt und wurde mit einem neuen, handgeflochtenen Sitz aus originaler dänischer Papierkordel ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die skulptural ausgearbeiteten Details wie die fein proportionierten Streben der Rückenlehne sowie die elegant geschwungenen, sich verjüngenden Armlehnen. Deren sanfter Schwung sorgt für außergewöhnlichen Sitzkomfort und wirkt als angenehmer Handschmeichler.
Zustand: Fachmännisch restauriert. Das Geflecht ist neu und in perfektem Zustand. Professionell reparierte Brüche an der Rückenlehne, neu verleimt, stabil und frisch lackiert. Wenige altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren wie leichte Kratzer, kleine Bestoßungen und minimale Farbnuancen. Ein herausragendes Beispiel höchster dänischer Handwerkskunst.
