Private sellerProduct description
Spectacular Murano glass table lamp designed by Toni Zuccheri for VeArt, consisting of a sphere with inward-facing folds. This is the transparent version, where the glass looks almost like a sheet of ice. VeArt was founded in 1965 by Sergio Billiotti and Ludovico Diaz De Santillana, the latter of whom, in addition to being the founder of VeArt, was also the artistic director of Venini. Toni Zuccheri was a designer, architect and, above all, a glass artist. He worked with the greatest producers in Murano, from Venini to Barovier & Toso, and created glass sculptures both in Italy and abroad. Very good condition. Slight scratches visible only when the lamp is turned on, The top edge has a small area where the surface is not perfectly ground.
