Sanguine Engraving "Nude from Behind" Signed Jean Auguste Vyboud - Framed.
For sale, a beautiful sanguine engraving depicting a delicate study of a female nude seen from behind. The work is distinguished by the fineness of its lines and the softness of its execution, characteristics of the great skill of this late 19th/early 20th-century artist.
🎨 The Artist: Jean Auguste Vyboud (1872-1944), a renowned French painter and master engraver, celebrated for his excellence in the art of intaglio printing.
✍️ The Artwork and the Support: This is an original print, signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right corner. The print is made on superb textured, heavyweight art paper (most likely Arches or a fine vellum). The plate mark (the indentation left by the printing plate) is deep and perfectly visible, beautifully framing the subject.

Overall frame: 24 x 21 cm
Internal image (at the plate mark): 8 x 10 cm
✨ Condition:
The print: In exceptional condition. The paper is immaculate, with absolutely no foxing, which is rare and highly desirable.
The frame: A beautifully crafted wooden frame (mahogany tone), protected under glass. There are only a few very minor signs of wear on the frame (barely visible to the naked eye). The back is neatly sealed with kraft paper by the framer and has its hanging ring. Ready to hang!
