Product description
A “Noce” wall or ceiling lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni for Flos in the 1970s, a project that interprets light as an architectural element through simple yet instantly recognizable forms. The red painted die-cast aluminium structure supports the large moulded shatterproof glass diffuser, creating an original balance between structural solidity and visual lightness. The soft, enveloping lines of the base interact with the ribbed surface of the diffuser, resulting in a piece with a strong sculptural presence. When switched off, it stands out as a graphic object capable of drawing attention, while once illuminated it emits a soft and even light that enhances the distinctive texture of the glass. An emblematic example of Achille Castiglioni’s design research, where technical innovation and formal clarity coexist effortlessly. Condition: Good overall condition, minor signs of use. Fits 2 E27 bulbs Dimensions: Width 35 cm - Depth 18 cm - Height 25 cm Ref.: L0872
