Herman A. Kähler – Danish Ceramic Table Lamp, 1960s
Unique earthenware table lamp from the 1960s by Herman A. Kähler Ceramic, Denmark, designed by Nils Kähler.
This lamp combines high-quality Danish design with traditional craftsmanship and is a beautiful example of Scandinavian ceramics from the mid-20th century.
The lamp base has a matte dark brown base and is finished with a glossy deep blue glaze, enriched with an elegant herringbone pattern. This contrast gives the lamp a rich and distinctive appearance. The adjustable shade holder is made of brass and adds a subtle, classic touch.
The cream-colored lampshade is made of coarsely woven fabric and complements the ceramic in a warm, natural way. The lamp is signed on the bottom.
Equipped with a new cord with plug and a socket suitable for an (LED) E27 bulb. An atmospheric and authentic vintage table lamp that fits perfectly in both Scandinavian and modern interiors.
Dimensions: H49 x D28.5 x W28.5cm, base height (excluding fitting) 24.5cm, base diameter 10.2cm.
In very good vintage condition. The removable shade cover has a dark spot on the inside due to heat, which is not visible from the outside. (The shade cover can also be omitted.)
