Product description
Retro rectangular wall mirror in Memphis Milano Style referring to the pop art period. Colorful and lively.
The mirror glass is in very good condition. Some signs of use on the frame here and there (see photos).
Nielsen is a renowned frame manufacturer that focuses on photo frames, mirrors, decorative corner profiles, and hanging systems.
The company was founded in 1971 by American Helmar Nielsen in Townsend, Tennessee. Ten years later, together with entrepreneur Rainer Monchmeier from Rheda, he laid the foundation for the German branch. Today, the Nielsen brand is synonymous with, among other things, aluminum photo frames.
On the back is a sticker from Studio Van der Plas, which has been located on the Langstraat in Wassenaar for more than 45 years. The Langstraat 33 location has now become a household name, housing a print shop, a camera store, a gallery, and its own framing workshop in addition to the photo studio.
