Private sellerProduct description
This vintage seating group, designed by Niels Eilersen in the 1960s, embodies the essence of Danish design. The set consists of a two-seater sofa and two matching armchairs, which together form a harmonious and inviting ensemble. The robust wooden frame provides a solid base for the generous, tufted cushions, resulting in a timeless silhouette characteristic of the Mid-Century Modern period. The furniture is crafted with a solid wood frame, likely oak or teak, which possesses a warm, natural appearance. The cushions are upholstered in high-quality brown leather, which has developed a rich patina over the years. The tufted details on the back and seat cushions add texture and depth to the design. The set was produced in Denmark, a country known worldwide for its craftsmanship and innovative 20th-century furniture designs. The set is in good vintage condition, with a characterful appearance that attests to decades of use. The leather has developed an authentic patina, contributing to the charm and history of the furniture. The structural integrity of the frames has been preserved, ensuring the set can provide comfort for many years to come. This Niels Eilersen seating group is a perfect addition to a Scandinavian or eclectic interior. The warm brown tones and natural wood fit effortlessly into a living room or library, where they create an atmosphere of understated luxury and comfort. The set combines perfectly with other vintage finds or modern, minimalist pieces.
