Product description
Nicole Schaap, an acclaimed artist known for her intricate and expressive works, presents "Coucher du Soleil" and "Lever du Soleil," two stunning color screen prints (serigraphies) created in 2005. Both pieces are handsigned and numbered, part of a limited edition of 85.
These medium-sized artworks measure 99 x 40 cm for the image and 110 x 50 cm in total, each rendered in a vibrant landscape orientation. Schaap's abstract approach to landscapes is evident in her masterful use of a multi-color palette, bringing a dynamic and expressive quality to each piece.
Schaap's work is distinguished by her technique of layering materials, creating a poetic subtlety and powerful expressionistic impact. Her compositions evoke cities and areas, subtly suggested and deformed by her creative process, yet always recognizable. These prints showcase her ability to blend architectural lines with a delicate and nuanced color palette, resulting in pieces that are both strong and refined.
