Characterful Swedish Pinnstol by Nässjö Stolfabrik AB, manufactured for the furniture brand Nesto.
The chair displays the typical Scandinavian design language of the era: a slightly curved backrest, slender splayed legs, and five finely turned back spindles. The stretchers between the legs provide additional stability and echo the backrest's design with their turned details. Despite its traditional construction, the chair appears light and elegant.
Particularly appealing is the wine-red to dark-red lacquer finish, which gives the classic Swedish wooden chair a strong graphic expression. Thanks to the visible wood grain and the patina developed over decades, the piece possesses a very authentic vintage character.
Condition: Authentic vintage condition with clear signs of age and use. The red lacquer shows abrasion, scratches, and minor imperfections, especially on the backrest, edges, and partly on the seat and frame.
