Authentic Italian piece from the 19th century - Neo-Renaissance (1860-1885) Solid walnut table with beautiful carving details. Dimensions W x D x H = 69 x 48 x 73 cm. Italian Neo-Renaissance gueridon, ca. 1860–1885 A very beautiful and richly hand-carved Italian salon gueridon from the second half of the 19th century, made of solid walnut. This piece is crafted in the Neo-Renaissance style with Baroque influences and is characterized by exceptionally deep and sculptural carving. The table rests on four elegantly curved legs, each crowned with an expressive lion's head, a symbol of strength and prestige. The detachable tray and the equally carved lower shelf demonstrate refined craftsmanship with subtle asymmetry, typical of studio-made pieces. Origin: Northern Italy (Lombardy/Veneto) Dating: ca. 1860–1885 Material: Solid walnut Condition: Good, original condition with a beautiful, authentic patina Construction: Entirely hand-carved, not a serial production A characterful and decorative piece of furniture, suitable for a classic or eclectic interior.
