Here's a fantastic piece of Dutch design history, a side table designed by Erik van Buitenen for Nebu in 1970. This table is a true icon of the Space Age era, instantly recognizable by its vibrant orange colour and futuristic form.
Crafted from a single piece of moulded plastic, the frame features distinctive oval cut-outs that give it a light, sculptural feel. It's topped with a circular smoked glass panel that adds a touch of contrast and sophistication. This compact table measures 40 cm in diameter and stands 26 cm tall, making it a versatile addition to any room.
This piece is in great vintage condition, showing the authentic character of a well-maintained item from the 1970s. Its bold colour and playful silhouette make it a perfect statement piece for a living room, bedroom, or reading nook, fitting seamlessly into retro, eclectic, or modern interiors.
