Manufactured by Artek (Finland). Wooden frame and legs. In excellent original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Hugo Alvar Henrik Aalto (1898-1976) was a Finnish architect and designer. His work includes architecture, furniture, textiles and glassware. Aalto's hallmark was to treat every building as a complete work of art, right down to the furniture and lighting fixtures.
