Magnificent framed vintage reproduction: "Nativity" by Georges de La Tour
Sublime, high-quality reproduction of the famous "Nativity" by Georges de La Tour (1593-1652).
After: Georges de La Tour. The original work is on display at the Musée de Rennes, as attested by the authenticity label on the back.
Details: This reproduction was published by Ars Mundi (Paris) and printed by Braun & Cie, two renowned houses for the quality of their vintage art prints.
28.5 x 33.5 cm (including frame).
Very good overall condition for its age. Charming vintage gilt frame. The painting has very minor surface imperfections (specks/textural variations) not visible from a distance but noticeable in close-up (see detailed photos, especially the last one).
Vintage item, probably from the mid-20th century. A beautiful work of art with a lovely patina, perfect for elegant decoration.
