Exceptional Zuni Native American Fetish Necklace – 14 Carved Animals & 925 Sterling Silver
A superb and authentic multi-fetish necklace of Native American art (traditional style of the Zuni and Navajo tribes of the American Southwest). This collector's piece features a series of 14 meticulously hand-carved animals in a magnificent variety of natural gemstones and sedimentary rocks (jasper, marl marble, landscape agate, soapstone).
Each animal fetish is separated by delicate, traditional cylindrical Heishe-style beads in dark mother-of-pearl and pen shell, offering a very elegant and graphic contrast. The finishing is top-of-the-line: protective end cones and a spring ring clasp in guaranteed sterling silver (hallmarked "925").
Condition: Excellent condition. The wire is perfectly taut and strong, the carvings have no chips, and the beads have retained a beautiful polish. Dimensions: Total length 68 cm (beautifully draped, flowing). Each animal measures approximately 2.5 cm.
