Product description
This is the Pompadour vase, designed by Nanny Still for the renowned Finnish glass manufacturer Riihimäen Lasi. The design is characterized by a refined, sculptural silhouette typical of Scandinavian glass design from the mid-twentieth century.
The vase is crafted from mouth-blown glass in an elegant, transparent blue hue. The design consists of a sturdy cylindrical base, followed by a series of organic, spherical segments that culminate in a broad, flat neck. This layered structure demonstrates the craftsmanship and technical mastery of the material.
The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original luster and clarity of the blue glass have been well preserved, contributing to the authentic appearance of this collector's item.
