A hand-blown glass art object with a star-shaped, organic design of wavy extensions. The object was made on the island of Murano, Italy, and aligns with the mid-century modernist style.
The piece is constructed using the sommerso technique, where different layers of glass are applied over each other. The base consists of clear, transparent crystal glass in which a flowing, ruby red to ruby pink color band is encapsulated along the raised edges and contours.
