Hand-blown Murano glass from the 1950s-1960s, in sommerso technique. From a narrow base, two waves rise and curl at the top, like water just before it breaks.
Milky white opaline glass is encased by sky blue and set in thick crystal clear glass. Light plays through it as if through seawater.
Can be used as a sculpture or decorative bowl. In very good condition, without cracks. One minuscule chip at the end of one of the waves, only visible up close (see photo).
