Product description
This is a vintage Murano glass bowl, characterized by its sculptural and organic form. The piece embodies renowned Italian glass art, distinguished by its dynamic silhouette and vibrant coloring.
The bowl was crafted using the Sommerso technique, where layers of colored glass are encased in clear glass. An intense green hue on the inside transitions into a milky-white base, entirely enclosed by a thick layer of transparent glass. The asymmetrical shape culminates in an elegantly curved, pointed end, lending fluid movement to the object and highlighting the craftsmanship of Murano glassblowers.
The object is in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and history. The handmade nature of the piece means that every detail is unique and contributes to the bowl's character. The glass surface retains its luster and transparency.
As a standalone decorative object, this Murano bowl adds a sophisticated accent to a sideboard, coffee table, or shelf. It seamlessly integrates into Mid-Century Modern, Italian design, or minimalist interiors, where it serves as an artistic splash of color.
