Superb period Murano crystal shaped piece Mid-Century Modern, with a unique organic silhouette. This trilobed catchall was designed by the famous designer Flavio Poli for the prestigious Venetian manufacturer Seguso Vetri d'Arte during the 1950s/1960s. It perfectly illustrates the Sommerso technique (submerged glass), trapping a two-tone core of luminous emerald green and intense magenta pink within a particularly thick and heavy translucent crystal envelope. Its curved three-lobed shape beautifully catches the light, creating deep and contrasting optical reflections. A decorative object of high artisanal virtuosity, ideal as a centerpiece or a graphic touch on a Scandinavian sideboard.
